Bald Eagles

Diving like lightning

The daddy bald eagle tackles people

While the mommy bald eagle

keeps the eggs safe.

The Mama Pig

The pig mother had a thousand million children so the mother couldn’t take care of them. So she went to the farmer. The farmer came back carrying a bucket of slops. He built the pig pen bigger but the mother pig still didn’t like it. So the pigs left their house. They found a giant shoe but the shoe had a sock inside it so they escaped. Then they went back to their pig pen and the mother changed her attitude.

Butterfly Wings

Butterfly’s colorful wet wings

Flutter gracefully over the flowers

Sipping nectar with dainty little tongue

Fluttering in a smooth pace

Seeking flowers, being helpful all the time.

The Train Trip

Emmy and Emily are packing suitcases. “I am so excited,” cried Emmy.

“Ya!” said Emily. “It’s time to get on the train,” added Emily.

“Oh yay!” screamed Emmy.

“OK, quiet down Emmy. That’s annoying,” said Emily, annoyed.

They got on the train. On the train the girls played games on their DS’s and watched a movie on Emily’s DVD player.

The conductor came to the car. “Hello,” said the conductor.

“Huh?” said Emmy, surprised.

“Oh, hello,” said Emily.

“Do you want some coloring pages?” asked the conductor.

“Yes, yes,” said Emmy.

“Wait. Let the conductor finish,” said Emily.

“Oh, I’m finished,” the conductor said.

They colored their pages. Then the whistle blew. “It’s time to get off,” said Emmy. And they got off the train.
